The traction range of the 5 layer models is 2.4" - 5.6" while the traction range for the 7 layer model is 2.4" - 8". The traction force for the 5 layer models is 0 - 110 lb, and the traction force for the 7 layer is 0 - 154 lb. |

Instructions for Neck Support

1. Seperate the Neck Support layers and grasp as illustrated.

2. Place the multi-layers Neck Support around the neck as shown with layers seperated, the join the left and right sides together.

3. Push the roller valve (blocker) towards the large end of the valve seat, then turn the air valve clockwise
to tighten it.

4. Squeeze the hand bulb to inflate the multi-layered chambers of the Neck Support to the desired level.

5. Push the roller valve (blocker) towards the small end of the valve seat, then turn the air valve clockwise to loosen it.
|
6. Push the roller valve (blocker) towards the large end of the valve seat slowly to let air out.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will inflating the neck support squeeze my neck?
The neck support will provide stretch to the neck, but does not constrict or put pressure into the neck.
Will I feel soreness after using the neck support?
If properly used, you should not feel soreness following your session with the neck support. With any stretching routine, you should start easy and increase gradually. For example, if you have not stretched in a while, you would not start off by vigorously stretching. If you did, you would be sore later. The same applies to the neck support. If soreness occurs, you need to reduce the time and intensity of use.
Can the neck support be over inflated?
It has built in safety features with an easy to follow illustrated instruction sheet included. A pressure relief valve is located near the inflation bulb. If the pressure in the neck support gets too high the valve will release pressure to a safer level. The velcro will only support a certain amount of pressure before unfastening.
Does the neck support put pressure on my jaw?
As the instructions indicate, you should let your head rest back on the product as you inflate it. This puts the stretch on the back of your head and off the jaw. Anyone with jaw, T.M.J., or dental problems needs to contact their health care professional first, before trying the neck support.
Can the neck support help improve the straightening of my neck?
Unnatural straightening of the neck is maintained by muscle tightness and fixations of the joints in the neck. The neck support helps loosen these tight joints and muscles. You should also be seeing a health care professional.
