We live in a pressurized environment. We cannot remove pressure - only manage it. Depending on where we reside, atmospheric pressure is about 760mm Hg or 14 PSI and yet we are not uncomfortable. Scuba divers withstand even more pressure as they submerge with out any pain. How is this so? The pressure is equal, so the soft tissue is not deformed; there is no discomfort (ischemic pain) due to the lack of blood flow. Effective pressure-relieving surface by offering force equalization. In other words: pressure is more equally distributed, soft tissue and capillary beds are less deformed, no ischemia or lack of oxygen to the cells and discomfort is minimized.

By diminishing peak pressures with the cervical neck pillow, blood flow is maintained and sleep is maximized.

Above we pressured mapped three pillows to show how well the cervical neck pillow relieves pressure. In order to effectively and consistently test our technology, a 10lb. bowling ball was used to simulate the human head. The red areas indicate pressure points that would restrict blood flow, which would create discomfort throughout the night. As you can see, our superior technology makes the other pillows "turn red".

It goes without saying that every person is unique. Since you can adjust the cervical neck pillow firmness, you can adjust to any individuals needs.

Our pillow cover has a unique triple-layer design to maximize weight distribution. For the first layer we use stretch velour, the second layer is 1oz. of anti-microbial fiber, and the third layer is a stretch jersey. The entire cover is machine washable. It is important that the cover is not too thick; otherwise you gain no benefit from the air cell support. All these features add up to an incredible cervical neck pillow that gives your head and neck the proper positioning for the sleep that you need.

This not only increases the comfort and therapeutic benefit, it also ads weight to the pillow allowing it to stay in place easier for those rough sleepers who sometimes find their cervical pillow moves during the night because of it's light weight. This version of the cervical neck pillow is better for side and stomach sleepers, while the version with two inflatable rows (2 Zones) is best for side and back sleepers.

The single zone valve will inflate all 3 rows of air chambers. The two zone valve – one valve will inflate one row and the other valve will inflate the other 2 rows. The one row that is inflated separately is the row that will lie under your neck – to customize the support for your neck.

How To Adjust Your Cervical Neck Pillow
The best way to determine the proper inflation level for your pillow is to experience the full adjustment range.
1) Unzip the pillow cover and locate the valve located on the air bladder.
2) Twist the valve end counter clockwise and place the enclosed hand pump's hose over it. (Do not remove the bladder from the pillow cover.)
3) Using the hand pump, pump air into the bladder until it just becomes firm.
4) Remove the pump and close the valve by twisting it clockwise.
5) With your head resting on the pillow, open the valve to release air. As air is released, your head will slowly sink into the pillow. Release air until the pillow is almost flat. You now know the inflation range of your cervical neck pillow.
6) Re-inflate the pillow and release air again to your desired comfort level. We recommend that you adjust the pillow to your liking prior to using it.
When adjusting the inflatable dual valve cervical neck pillow: Filling the front row of cells (the row at your neck) to a more inflated level than the other rows will give you firmer cervical support.
